Focused on structure, volume, and real use, the studio produces bags in small quantities.
Each piece is designed to carry weight, hold its shape, and last in everyday use.

No unnecessary decoration or added features.
The structure itself defines the design.

Origin

The studio began with a simple need.

A bag to carry tools and materials.
A tote that could support weight without losing its form.

This first prototype became the starting point.

Hiroki Amano founded atelier &LAB.

After more than 20 years in design and visual merchandising for luxury houses (including LVMH), he chose to produce independently.

From concept to object.
