What types of leather do you use?
We primarily use leathers sourced from deadstock of luxury houses and their partner tanneries. The type of leather used is specified on each product page.
Where are the products made?
All atelier &LAB products are made in Île-de-France, crafted piece by piece in my workshop.
Are all products identical?
No. As upcycled leathers are used, natural variations in grain, tone, and texture may occur. These variations are part of the product.
Are the products handmade?
Handwork is involved at every key stage, complemented by professional tools adapted to leather. The goal is precision and the accuracy of the final product.
Gift card
How long is the gift card valid?
The atelier &LAB gift card is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
How is the gift card delivered?
It is sent by email, as a digital code, shortly after purchase.
Can it be used more than once?
Yes. The balance can be used over multiple orders until fully redeemed.
Is the gift card refundable?
No. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Can the gift card be used on all products?
Yes. It is valid on all atelier &LAB collections.
Orders & Lead Times
Are the products in stock or made to order?
Some models are available in limited stock.
Others are made to order depending on quantities and available leathers.
When is payment processed?
Payment is due immediately at the time of order via the secure payment methods available on the website. Orders are processed only after payment has been received.
What are the manufacturing and shipping lead times?
Indicative delivery times:
- France: 3 to 5 business days
- European Union: 5–10 business days
- Other destinations: 7–14 business days
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Any request for modification or cancellation must be made shortly after placing the order. Once production has started or the order has been shipped, no changes or cancellations are possible.
Are delivery times guaranteed?
Delivery times are indicative.
Delays may occur due to carriers, customs procedures, or exceptional circumstances.
Shipping, Returns & Exchanges
Where do you ship?
atelier &LAB ships within France, the European Union, and to selected countries outside the EU. Available destinations are shown at checkout.
What are the shipping fees?
Standard shipping is offered unless otherwise stated.
Exact conditions are specified at checkout.
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times are provided for guidance only and depend on the destination:
- France: 3–5 business days
- European Union: 5–10 business days
- Other destinations: 7–14 business days
Do you ship outside the European Union?
Yes. For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties or local taxes may be required by the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Can I return a product?
In accordance with applicable legislation, you have 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Products must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging.
Who covers the return shipping costs?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error attributable to atelier &LAB.
Are made-to-order products returnable?
Standard products, even when made after ordering, benefit from the 14-day withdrawal period. Customised or made-to-measure products are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
How do I return a product?
Before any return, please contact atelier &LAB by email.
Instructions will be provided prior to returning the product.
Care
How should I care for my product?
Avoid water, heat, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
Store the product in its pouch when not in use.
Will the leather evolve over time?
Yes. Leather is a living material.
It will naturally develop a patina with use.
